Arizona NICA is forming our Student Leadership Council and we are looking for amazing student-athletes to help represent our league. The role of a student leader is to lead, support, inspire and represent the members of their teams and the league fairly and consistently at all times. Student leaders will act as a sounding board, the link between their fellow athletes and the league.
Requirements:
Seeking both Middle School and High School representatives (open to all AZ NICA riders, no team affilliation required)
Term runs May 2023 - May 2024
Keep a GPA of 3.0
Respect and follow the NICA code of conduct
Expectations:
Attend AZ NICA Leadership Summit (date TBD)
Provide valuable input on upcoming race planning and events
Participate in league zoom meetings (while in season)
Engage formally with student athletes monthly for feedback (while in season)
Lead by example and treat others the way you would want to be treated
Serve as a role model for future student leaders to follow
Applications must be submitted by May 1st, 2023
