2019-2020 Enrollment (Public) Zero Debt College Project. Open May 13th - May 31st, 2019
Welcome. The Zero Debt College Project is a program administered by Whatsoever Is Good, Inc. A local 501-c-3 nonprofit dedicated to helping students find ways to go to college debt free. Each year we offer The Scholarship Search Party Experience and weekly sessions with Zero Debt College Project Teen Mentors. To participate, complete this application. Expect a call within the first month or so of your application from Monique Thompson or one of our teen mentors.

1. You DON'T need to have a perfect grade point average to get scholarships.
2. You DON'T need to wait until senior year to look for scholarships.
3. You DON'T have to do this alone.

There is no cost to participate in the Zero Debt College Project. We expect you to work hard to find all the money you need for school. Achieve your dreams and come back to help others do the same as a way of paying it forward.

As a Zero Debt College Project participant:

1. You commit to completing orientation before September 1, 2019
2. You commit to weekly participation (virtually), on Wednesdays from 4pm - 6pm starting September 1, 2019.
3. You commit to completing two hours of volunteer service with the Zero Debt College Project each month, September 1, 2019 - August 31, 2019.

How we help:
We will submit your name to the White House for the Presidential Service Award if you earn enough service hours for recognition.
We will help you with finding scholarships.
We will help you with writing your essays.

You do not need to live in Texas to participate. Our meetings are held by phone, video, and the weekly sessions use the REMIND platform to interact.

Please have your mentors, and if you are on FaceBook, this is to you as well, join our FaceBook Group Zero Debt College Project to be kept up to date on scholarship leads and all things related to college.

Kindest Regards,
