Creating Sustainable mini–collection in five days: from concept to implementation and communication
It is ground-braking micro-course that will lead you through all steps of designing process and ends up with a mini-collection accomplished and put on a show/display.
The course is addressed to wide audience - from fashion designers/students to entrepreneurs and fashion lovers who is concerned with sustainable fashion.
Day one: Eco-dyeing workshop - preparing piece of fabric for key garment of mini-collection
Day two: Art practices, creativity workshops, unconventional fashion drawing: design idea generation
Through warming up art practices and creativity exercises you will create sketching ideas and learn how to implement them in your collection
Day three: Unconventional pattern cutting Zero-Waste design & Introduction to the design process with practice-led research. You will learn how to design and cut your fabric pieces without any scrap left over
Day four: Unconventional pattern cutting Zero-Waste design. Design development & Garment construction. You will proceed further with your design findings; you will learn and practice some techniques to assemble garments
Day five: Fashion communication-creating fashion event, participation in mini-fashion show/ exhibition. You will create a concept for fashion show and do all necessary preparation including: Styling, make-up, line-up, music, choreography

A deposit of 150$USD is required at the time of booking. We provide few options for money transfer.
The remaining balance will be paid on the first day of workshop. The invoice will be provided.

Once you accomplish all the projects you will get a Certificate of completing Eco-Fashion Design micro-course.
In addition you will have chance to visit Terracotta Arts garden in Chaing Mai and clay workshop in Lamphun to see more of unique clay sculptures placed in natural environment.
