#ReturnTheBirthright Testimonials Form
The Jewish Voice for Peace Student Network is launching a #ReturntheBirthright campaign, calling on young diaspora Jews to boycott Birthright. We want to hear from you why you think boycotting Birthright is important!
We invite folks of all identities to submit testimonials for our campaign. Have you been on Birthright? Did you decide to boycott Birthright? Are you Jewish, but past the age limit? Are you Palestinian? We want testimonials from people of all backgrounds - students and non-students, Palestinians, Jews, and anyone else. You can write a few sentences or three paragraphs!
Your testimonial can be anonymous, or you can include as much identifying information as you want. However, please include your email so we can contact you in case we have questions, or want to learn more about your testimonial.
We plan to put these testimonials on our campaign website, and use them for memes, infographics and other campaign materials.

Some prompts to help you get started:
Why is it important to boycott Birthright?
What would you tell someone who is considering going on Birthright?
What do you think about the notion that every Jewish person around the world automatically gets 'a birthright' to 'return' to Israel, while Palestinian refugees are denied the right of return?
If you have been on a Birthright trip, what was it like? Were there moments that made you uncomfortable? Were there moments when you or others challenged the Zionist narrative that was being presented? Did your trip help lead you towards Palestine solidarity?
If you are Jewish, how does your identity as a Jewish person relate to your decision to boycott Birthright?
If you are Palestinian, how does your identity as Palestinian relate to your desire to see folks boycott Birthright?
What are your feelings around "niche" Birthright trips (LGBTQ, etc.)?
What was a key moment in you deciding to educate yourself about Palestine and question the narrative you may have grown up with?
