2025 BCM Volunteer Availability
Hello BCM volunteers! 

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering. The time has come for us to work together to get you on the schedule for this summer :) Please read the directions in full before filling out this form!

  • Fill out your availability below, checking any dates that you are available and interested in volunteering with BCM for the upcoming season. 
  • Indicating that you are available does not officially sign you up, I will send out a follow up email confirming your participation after I have received your response!
  • Preference will be given to volunteers who are able to make the full trip series but not being able to make the full trip series will not necessarily exclude you from participation. 
  • Any options below that start with "Student" mean that they are student-facing and you will need to complete and pass a background check as well as attend the Volunteer Training Day in order to participate (if for some reason you can't make the Volunteer Training Day but still want to participate on student facing programs please email me at margaret.cartner@bigcitymountaineers.org).
  • Any options that start with "Admin" are trip pack in and pack out dates for trips and are non-student facing.
  • If you have notes about your participation like,  "This trip is my number one preference but I can make others work" or "I can do this date but would need to leave at x time"  (admin days only) or anything else that you feel I might want to consider in scheduling, select "Other" and write in notes. 
  • There are still organizations that have not selected dates for their programming this summer. I will send out emails to inform everyone of those potential dates and ask for availability as they are selected.
