Thank YOU for your interest in building a better Encino....together! We have various Committees that have open spots available for community stakeholders (that's YOU!). We would love to hear about your interests, skills, experience, and ideas that you'd like to add to shaping our community together. The time commitment is a ~1 hour committee meeting per month, an optional ~2 hour board meeting per month, and additional support as needed for issues/events that are presented to the committee.

After submitting your Committee interest, appointments will be assigned by the Committee chair and approved by the Board Vice President. Thank you again for getting involved with Encino to continue building our bright future ahead!

Which Encino Neighborhood Council Committee(s) are you interested in?

Airport: Advocating for minimal air traffic noise and maiximum safety through all viable channels of the Van Nuys and Burbank Airport complex.

Bylaws: Guide the ENC in regard to operations and activities, supporting the ENC in operating within the rules and regulations that it must adhere to including California Code, Los Angeles City Charter and Administrative Code.

Education: Dedicated to fostering a strong connection between local schools, families and the community.

Finance: Make recommendations to the Board on all aspects of financial matters, including preparation of the budget and proposed expenditures.

Outreach: The bridge between the community and the ENC, creating digital, social, and printed materials, partnerships, and communications to amplify information on Board & Community activities to engage all Encino neighbors and stakeholders.

Parks & Environment: Represents the Sepulveda Basin and the Parks in the Encino Community to enhance and preserve the parks and open spaces.

Planning & Land Use: Works to thoroughly understand proposed developments, their benefits and drawbacks, and hear stakeholder comments to provide salient feedback to the project developer and ENC.

Public Safety: Addresses issues pertinent to the well-being of the Encino community, including disaster preparedness, crime prevention, and public health.

Special Events: Develop ENC community events to build neighborhood engagement, foster community relationships, and build connections together.

Traffic & Transportation: Works with the council office, the LAPD, and the DOT to evaluate traffic impact and traffic and pedestrian safety issues in the community.

Youth: For Encino neighbors and stakeholders aged 14 years or older, to share your voice across Encino issues and engage with ENC as the next generation of community leaders!
