Harvey Healing Day:
Our most recent endeavor has been the planning and future implementation of Harvey Healing Days, a series of days that host 90 minute sessions filled with positive ways for first responders, evacuees, and everyone affected to cope and express via music, art making, and movement. The inaugural day took place Saturday, November 4th. Our fourth Harvey Healing Day will take place on Saturday, June 16th from 1:30-3:30PM, with those involved in facilitating the event arriving at 11:00AM for set up, brief disaster response relief training, and allocation of duties. We will be serving both the adults and children still displaced from their homes and typical walk of life during this event.
