Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County Volunteer Information Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a BGCLC Volunteer!
Please complete the volunteer information form below. Once you have completed the form, click the "submit" button at the bottom.
At this time, we are asking that ALL volunteers be able to commit to completing at least 5 hours of volunteer service per week for at least 3 months at the Club of their choice and must be fully vaccinated. Masks and social distancing are required at all times.
Volunteers can serve:
During the school year
Monday - Friday
Between 3 pm - 6 PM
During the summer
Between 8am - 6pm
At this time, we do not have any weekend volunteer opportunities available.
There are several steps to becoming an official BGCLC volunteer:
1. Complete an online Volunteer Information Form. (This form) If you are able to meet the time commitment, you will move on to step 2.
2. Complete the Volunteer Interview Form at this link:
3. After completing both of those online forms, complete a background check either through Sterling Volunteers for $20 or a Fingerprint Check for $60, depending on your volunteer role or location. Volunteers must pay for their own background checks.
4. Sign and complete the following documents: Volunteer Waiver, Keeping Members Safe Pledge, COVID Waiver, & Volunteer Agreement. (These will be sent virtually for a digital signature)
5. For those volunteering with our licensed facilities, we also required several remote trainings through Colorado Shines.
6. Attend a virtual Safety Training & Orientation that is offered every other Friday @ 1:00pm via Google Meet. (We will send this link after all other steps have been completed.)

All prospective volunteers must submit to and pass a criminal record and National Sex Offender check prior to volunteering. Prospective volunteers who have been convicted of any felony offense will not be considered for a volunteer position with BGCLC. Prospective volunteers with convictions for other criminal offenses will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you are volunteering for Court Ordered Community Service, please provide us with the charge and the amount of hours that need to be completed
If you are volunteering for a School Requirement, please provide us with the name of your school and the amount of hours that need to be completed
After completing orientation, volunteers working directly with Club kids are asked to make a minimum three-month commitment to the Club. Please note that most Club volunteer positions require a minimum of six hours of service per month.

I understand that if I choose to be a Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County volunteer I will be required to undergo a criminal background screening at my own expense. I also undertstand the fee paid for the criminal background screen will not be refunded shall I decide not to volunteer and/or I do not meet the requirements to volunteer set by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County Board of Directors. I further understand that if any of the information I have provided is found to be false, it may be reason for terminating my volunteer service.
