If accepted, I hereby acknowledge and agree to participate in the Working Share Program offered by Further Up Farms ("the CSA"). In consideration for the opportunity to engage in activities related to the CSA, I willingly and voluntarily agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that participating in agricultural activities, including but not limited to planting, harvesting, and other tasks, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, exposure to unpredictable weather conditions, uneven terrain, equipment operation, and contact with plants and animals.
2. Release and Waiver: I hereby release, waive, and discharge the CSA, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in the working share program.
3. Responsibility for Personal Safety: I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety and well-being during my participation in the CSA's working share program. I agree to follow all safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols provided by the CSA.
4. Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, I authorize the CSA to obtain medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to communicate my consent. I understand that the CSA will make reasonable efforts to contact the emergency contact person listed above before seeking medical treatment, but such efforts may not always be possible in every situation.
5. Insurance: I understand that the CSA does not provide health, accident, or liability insurance coverage for participants. I am encouraged to carry my own insurance to cover any injuries or damages that may occur during my participation.
6. Contribution: I understand that if my minimum required hours are not met by the end of the session, I may be disqualified for future working share opportunities and/or incur a fee to offset the missed hours.
By clicking below, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Participant Agreement and Release of Liability. I voluntarily agree to its terms and conditions, and I agree to assume the risks associated with participating in the working share program.
