2020 SSA Global Travel Grant - Application

SSA's Global Travel Grant offers financial assistance to students attending a workshop, a small domestic scientific meeting or an international scientific meeting. Attendance at the meeting must be directly connected to the study of earthquake science or seismology or their application. Travel must occur between 1 May 2020 and 31 October 2020.
—Applicant must be an SSA Student member in good standing for at least six months prior to open application period (since August 2019) or Early-Career member in good standing for at least a year prior to open application period (since February 2019).
—Attendance at the meeting must be directly connected to the study or application of earthquake science or seismology.
—Applicants may apply to participate in relevant scientific conferences or workshops anywhere in the world. Please note: Any conference that takes place in North America must have fewer than 1000 participants. [Examples of ineligible meetings in North America: Annual Meetings of SSA, AGU, GSA and SEG.]
Applicants are encouraged to find other sources of financial support to supplement SSA funding, which is capped at $2,500 per grant.
