DV3x2 2024 FIRM REGISTRATION
Want to help inspire the next generation of designers?

DV3x2 is a free one-week summer program from June 25-28 for high school students that lets students explore AEC careers with short, hands-on visits to multiple architecture, engineering, construction (and beyond) firms. Students can see first-hand what goes on in the design studios, visit construction sites, learn about the education and licensing process, and more.

Schedule:
  • Morning of Tuesday, June 25th: opening session with all students at UT
  • Tuesday - Friday: three 2-hour visits to different firms in a small group of students
  • Afternoon of Friday, June 28th: closing session with all students at ACC Highland
Participating firms host up to three groups of students for two hours each over the course of the week.

Sponsorships are also available to help with transportation for students and to provide additional materials to participants.

We agree to follow the following guidelines throughout the duration of the internship and thereafter, as applicable: - At least 2 firm employees will be present in the same room with the DV3x2 student interns at all times. - Interns/students will not be permitted to get in a vehicle with a firm employee, including but not limited to the participants, unless it is an emergency or unless the student has provided a permission form to be signed by his/her parent/guardian which adequately releases AIA Austin from any liability. - In consideration of AIA Austin allowing me the opportunity to participate in the DV3x2 program, the undersigned, for itself, its employees, executors and assigns, hereby releases AIA Austin, its board of directors, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability for personal injury or property damage arising out of the undersigned’s participation in the DV3x2 internship program and agrees to hold AIA Austin free, clear, and harmless from any and all claims and demands for personal injury or property damage arising out of the program. This release shall survive the termination of participant’s participation in the program.
