The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) will continue to provide COVID-19 over-the-counter (OTC) tests to public and non-public schools upon request for 2024-2025 school year. Schools can distribute these test kits to students, staff, and families  at their discretion for diagnostic testing and/or screening testing. The tests supplied would be the OTC Inteliswab kits.

School based health centers (SBHCs) are also able to request kits to test students and staff. The tests supplied would be the OTC Osang Healthcare kits.

All test requests received by Thursday at 3pm will be added to the following week's distribution list. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Note: All test kits in the state inventory have been extended until 12/31/2024 at the latest. Presently, no plans for future test kit availability have been determined.
