An evaluation of the Sunday morning reorder experiment
October 2018

In response to God’s leading and discernment by the Elder and Pastor team, Zion has been testing a new Sunday morning order since June of this year. A detailed document (*) describing these changes and the reasons for making them was distributed back in the Spring before the change occurred.

The primary reasons for making the switch were in response to several specific strategic plan (*) goals for Zion:
• Creating more time/space for worship
• More fellowship opportunities
• Deeper study of Scripture

As we now approach the end of the experimental period (end of December), the Elder/Pastor team is evaluating the experiment in light of the original goals in order to discern how best to move forward into 2019. Please answer the questions below by November 4 and return this sheet to Clay Showalter. The Elder/Pastor team will review responses and bring a proposal to the CLT in November for counsel. After this meeting, the Elder/Pastor team will make a decision for 2019 at the beginning of December.

*Printed copies of these documents will be available in the foyer, or by requesting them from one of the Elders.
