Skotlantilais-amerikkalainen huippuduo Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas saapuu heinäkuussa Suomeen ja pitää kurssin Aarresaaressa (Kahvelitie 19 F 90510), Oulussa 4.-6.7.2018.
Kurssilla opetellaan kappaleita korvakuulolla ja kurssi on suunnattu pidempään soittaneille, joilla on jo kokemusta korvakuulolla opettelusta. Kaikki soittimet ovat kurssille tervetulleita.

Kurssi alkaa keskiviikkoiltana jameilla ja jatkuu torstaina sekä perjantaina työskentelyn merkeissä. Kurssin tarkempi ohjelma ilmoitetaan osallistujille myöhemmin.

Kurssin perushinta on 90€ ja opiskelijoilta, alaikäisiltä ja eläkeläisiltä 80€. Hintaan sisältyy lämpimät ateriat torstaina ja perjantaina. Viimeinen ilmoittautumispäivä on 15.4 ja kurssipaikat jaetaan ilmottautumisjärjestyksessä. Kurssimaksujen eräpäivä on 1.5 ja maksu on sitova. Jos kurssimaksua ei ole maksettu eräpäivään mennessä, paikka annetaan seuraavaksi ilmoittautuneelle.

Majoitus: Jos tarvitset majoituksen Oulussa, kurssin puolesta voimme järjestää koti/patjamajoitusta. Kerro myös ilmoittautumisessasi, jos voit tarjota kotimajoitusta. We are very happy to offer a small fiddle school taught by the biggest star teachers: Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas. The Aarresaari Fiddle School takes place in Oulu (Kahvelitie 19 F, 00150 Oulu) between the 4th and 6th of July 2018.

At the Fiddle School we learn tunes by ear. We expect that the participants have earlier experience of this and have at least basic knowledge of their instruments. All instruments are welcome!

The Fiddle School begins on Wednesday the 4th with an evening jam session. We'll have classes on Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th. We recommend staying until Saturday morning. Participants will get more information about the schedule by email.

The price for the Fiddle School is 90€, but the student/children/pensioner price is 80€. The price includes warm meals (lunch and dinner) on Thursday and Friday.  There is a limited number of places available, so if more apply we will take on the participants which submitted their applications first. The deadline for applying is the 15th of April and the deadline for the payment is 1st of May (payment details will be sent to the selected applicants). If the payment is not received by the given date, the next applicant in order will receive the place.

We try to arrange accommodation at the locals' homes for all who need it. If you want to organise your own accommodation, there are several possibilities in Oulu. The two closest places are:
