Solarize Goshen Participant Survey
If you are ready to go solar, please fill out this survey to start the process.

-----------------------

Why go solar?

It helps protect against volatile utility rates, adds value to your property, keeps more money in the local economy, and reduces your impact on the environment too. Indiana's solar laws will also change to decrease the financial benefits for systems installed and interconnected, as net metering phases out from now until 2022. Now is the time to go solar!

*Solarize Goshen is part of an independent steering committee of retired engineers, sustainability professionals, solar owners, city and MACOG staff, and other passionate volunteers. No committee member will benefit financially in any way from this initiative, but we will feel good if we succeed in making it easier and more affordable for people to go solar.

I/we probably pay enough federal taxes that I can take advantage of the 30% federal tax credit. This credit will phase down starting in 2020.
Approximately what is your budget for solar? (Either financing or total cash payment). Cost to offset 100% of electricity for a typical home before tax credit is $12,000 - $24,000. Typical net cost after tax credit is $9,000 - $17,000.
