Once received, your application will be reviewed for eligibility and we will contact you for any additional questions.
Once approved, your request for a scholarship will be forwarded to an appropriate treatment program that closely meets your unique needs.
Your application will then be reviewed by the admissions department of the selected treatment center, which will make a decision to admit based on the information in your application, bed availability, and their own client assessment.
PLEASE NOTE, VERY IMPORTANT:
This is not an overnight process, we have had clients who’ve waited several months; we’ve also had clients who have been approved and admitted in a single day. It all depends on the criteria listed above. We promise to do our best. We encourage you to keep looking on your own and if you are in an emergency situation, dial 9-1-1. 10,000 Beds is not an emergency placement service.
TO STAY ON OUR LIST, YOU MUST CHECK IN ON MONDAYS:
To remain on our list, YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL EVERY MONDAY to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are still seeking a scholarship and in need of treatment and briefly describe your current situation. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you've found help elsewhere and remove you from the list of applicants. PLEASE INCLUDE THE WORDS "MONDAY UPDATE" IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE TO MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL IS NOT MISSED.
