FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a program for students in lower elementary grades. In the Cedar Falls School District, we are opening the FLL application to students in grades 4-6. FLL is an organized opportunity for students to work in a team as they explore and learn about a different theme each year. FLL IS NOT PLAY TIME WITH LEGOS. For the 2018-2019 school year, the theme is space travel and the FLL Challenge is titled "INTO ORBIT". Teams will consist of 4-6 students and two volunteer coaches. It is possible that some students will not be able to be placed on teams due to a limited number of teams and coaches. In the event that there are not enough teams for students, priority will be given to
1) Students whose parents are serving as a coach.
2) Students who are available to meet at the times that the teams will be meeting.
3) Students that participated on an FLL or FLL Jr. team last year.
4) Students that are in higher grade levels.
