The #1 perk to teaching is the early registration date for families, being able to enroll your children in choice classes before they fill up. In order to keep access to this perk teachers must complete the following form BEFORE 7/31/23. Registration: 8/21-31. Teachers will be allowed to enroll first, on opening day, with General Registration following later in the week.

PRIMARY Teacher Absentee Plan:
To avoid being blocked from early student registration, a PRIMARY teacher must:
>>>1. Have a CO-teacher with a fully prepared lesson given to them in advance. OR
>>>2. Have found a designated substitute (Which may be an outside teacher, grandparent, or friend who has signed a Statement of Faith in advance, or the room monitor, if they have consented in advance) who has access to a fully prepared lesson. You can add this information on the below on this CLASS SUBMISSION FORM.

 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> If you are a teacher who previously withdrew and/or missed more than 6 Co-op class sessions in the 2021-22 school year, you qualify only to serve as a co-teacher (not a PRIMARY teacher) for the 2022-23 school year. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Please note: Each class must have at least one teacher, co-teacher, or room monitor who can sign the Statement of Faith without reservation. If the primary teacher opts to sign option #2, then they must find a co-teacher who signs under option #1, or the room monitor position will be labeled as needing an option #1 volunteer.

Do you have a CoTeacher for this class? *
Enter their Contact info below. Classes without two teachers will have parents signed up to room monitor, so you are not required to have a Co-Teacher, but we find it works much better for two people to team teach. Co-teachers will be given an early registration day as a benefit for sharing the load to preparing and teaching a class.  THEY MUST BE TRUE PARTNERS IN TEACHING, FULLY EXPECTING AND PREPARED TO TEACH ANY OR ALL WEEKS OF CO-OP.
Do you have a Designated Substitute for this class? *
Enter their Contact info below. This would be someone who DOES NOT attend or help with co-op otherwise, but has offered to come teach, if you should be absent.  They must submit a sign Statement of Faith form in advance: You can read and print it here: http://tinyurl.com/SoFteacher
Teacher Absentee Plan:  To avoid being blocked from early registration, a teacher must agree to one of the following options: *
Digital Signature, "I have completed the above steps and understand Co-op is a top level commitment, and I will hold that space in my schedule ***above all else.***  If I don't show up consistently, or 'drop the ball', I may be blocked from registration in the future." Please type your name below. *
Course Title *
Be specific, so the subject matter is obvious.
Semester Class or Full Year? *
Would your class be able to be offered in a Semester Format?

Required
Minimum  Student Enrollment
Setting a Minimum is optional: How many students do you need to make this class worthwhile?   If registration does not reach this number we will contact you after registration to see if you want to proceed with the class.
MAXIMUM Student Enrollment *
Setting a Maximum: This number is REQUIRED so our registration runs smoothly.  We would encourage you consider offering your class to at least 12 students, or to offer it a second time if a small class size is preferred. This gives plenty of opportunity for more kids to take your wonderful class!  *** At the end of registration, we will let you know how many kids signed up, and how many are on your waiting list if there is one.*** We reserve the right to reduce this number based on classroom space availability.
Course Description: *
Please describe your course in detail (scope and sequence), specific age/grade limits, what will be covered, whether it will have homework, outline any materials/equipment to be brought, or prerequisite requirements. *** PLEASE NOTE *** the co-op cannot reimburse you for class costs accumulated throughout the school year. Please set your fee to adequately cover material costs used for the entire class year.  This information will be copied into the course catalog.
Is this a Performance Class? If so, the class description MUST include: details on content/topics as well as performance dates for midsemester AND/OR year end, so parents are aware of the entire commitment... this includes any possible extra practices. (Please note, if the performance is for the closing program it may be limited in length, please see Pam DeVos for details) *
