If you are considering making an artifact donation, please keep in mind that neither the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum nor the Congress of Country Music Museum has an acquisition budget and does not purchase items

Instead, we rely on generous contributions from supporters like you. Because we are a 501(c)3 Nonprofit, your contribution may be tax deductible as allowed by the IRS.

To aid in the Congress' evaluation of your donation offer, please provide any documentation, photographs, or other information on the chain of ownership, the historical significance of your donation, and its specific relation to country music history. Including provenance on the artifacts helps preserve the personal stories associated with each item and allows the Museum to interpret the artifacts better.
