On the last day of our contract, UW offered us their “last, best, and final” offer. Notably, it does not include any fee waivers or lump sum payments to offset student fees. This is a regression from our previous contract, in which salaried ASEs received a yearly $100 lump sum to cover part of the $248 we pay in fees each quarter.

We are taking collective action to demand a fee waiver OR lump sum payout be added to the current "last, best, final". In order to win this, we need a massive UAW 4121 member turnout (Zoom squares and video-presence both welcome!!) at the upcoming Board of Regents Meeting on May 13, 12:30pm [[THIS IS THE UPDATED CORRECT TIME]].
