Sign to Support Federal JMHCP Funding to Increase Access to Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment
Since 2006, the bipartisan Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) has supported initiatives for people with mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders who come into contact with the justice system. For 20 years, JMHCP grantees have helped promote public safety and save public resources by safely diverting people from the criminal justice system into treatment and comprehensive support services. These programs also provide training for law enforcement and other public safety officials while fostering collaboration between justice and treatment professionals.

To further this critical work, The Council of State Governments Justice Center is circulating a national sign-on letter to Congressional leadership in support of continued JMHCP funding. Please fill out the form below to add your national, state, or local organization to our letter to Congress. Thank you for your support!
