CELT Support for Summer Graduate Instructors
Graduate instructors teaching this summer may experience unique challenges related to remote course delivery. Beyond using the technology, they are still honing their teaching practices related to lesson design, class management and communication, active learning, assessing students and giving feedback, creating a teaching persona, and acclimating to the larger intellectual projects of teaching in their disciplines. CELT is eager to provide support and mentorship for these graduate instructors with a “CELTic on Call” who would work with them over the summer when they needed, from just-in-time help to more sustained and reflective conversations.
