Expanded Learning Green Site Recognition Program
This regional recognition program encourages expanded learning students and staff to commitment to actions that benefit the environment of their campus community. By empowering students to incorporate environmentally responsible actions into their expanded learning program, students will increase their civic engagement as they inspire others to make green behaviors the norm.

After committing your site to this year long program, you will be contacted by the Region 4 STEAM Program Director who will provide you ongoing support and review your program’s activity submissions.

Upon completion of the green activities, your program will receive a banner to hang proudly at the site. The visual reminder will recognize the expanded learning program’s commitment to increase environmental literacy skills for it’s students and hopefully spark conversations with others about how to build a larger green community.

***one award per Local Educational Agency [LEA] per year, if you have more than one site in an LEA reach out to the STEAM Program Director to find out if space is available***
