Introductory Brain Bee Preparation Camp

The Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition designed for high school students. Its aims are to inspire young learners to pursue a career in neurosciences and research and learn more about the brain. The Brain Bee is an international competition that takes place annually in many countries around the world. You can read more about different chapters at www.thebrainbee.org. The goal of the Brain Bee Training Program is to prepare highly motivated students to compete in the Brain Bee competition. The students will follow an intensive curriculum prepared by experienced Brain Bee coaches. 

This program consists of 9 weeks of intensive training to prepare students for the Brain Bee competition exams.

The goal of the Brain Bee Training Program is to prepare highly motivated students to compete in the Brain Bee competition. The students will follow an intensive curriculum prepared by experienced Brain Bee coaches.  
 
Duration: 9 weeks (18 lessons)
Schedule: 60 mins on Saturdays and 60 mins at 2 pm - 3 pm EST
Course cost: $700
Group size: 5-10 students
Course start date: on a rolling basis 

Over the course of 9 weeks, students will cover all chapters from Brain Facts book which can be downloaded from http://www.yerkes.emory.edu/documents/Brain%20Facts%20book.pdf. The last week of the training camp will be allocated to intensive neuroanatomy, neurohistology and patient diagnosis training. The course also includes 1 final Mock Brain Bee exam.  

All course participants will be able to access weekly quizzes, handouts and lecture presentations on Schoology.
