Throughout 2024 and leading up to the US presidential election, artist Ashley Cecil has been exhibiting work that explores our allegiances and how we express them. Looking past the pomp and circumstance of our American Pledge of Allegiance, this specific participatory artwork asks gallery visitors, To whom or what do you pledge your allegiance?
