CHSA FDC Trainers Institute - July 17-19, 2018
Program Offering:
Registration includes a three-day training in the FDC™ Program by a master teacher. After the Institute, the master teacher will co-facilitate two classes with the trainee at their agency, observing and providing mentor coaching, providing feedback on the instructor's teaching and portfolio reviews, and will provide phone support sessions throughout the duration of the course. If additional trainees participate from the same agency, they will be included in the coaching/mentoring cohort.

At course completion, the mentor-coach will provide final feedback and, if the quality of instruction is present, certify that the individual has completed the required training. CHSA will provide the materials needed to teach the class, including ready-made class agendas, PowerPoint presentations and updates, access to videos/DVDs necessary to teach the class, ready-made tests for the class and full access to the CHSA FDC™ website that has additional support materials for facilitators. The completion of the Instructor/Mentor Coach Training Institute allows any person going through an FDC™ course taught by an official FDC™ instructor to be eligible for the credential from the University of Connecticut.

Training Fees:

$5,500 for Lead Attendee - (first person to register from a program)

$2,750 per person for Additional Attendees - (additional persons registering from the same program)

Cancellations *
Cancellations received in writing by Friday, July 12, 2018 will be assessed a $100 processing fee per registrant. There will be no refunds and registration fee is due in full for no-shows. To cancel your registration, please email your request to events@caheadstart.orgThere will be a $75 Returned Check Fee for all returned checks. After the training starts, cancellations due to extenuating circumstances (i.e. death, accident, serious illness) must be submitted in writing, include appropriate verification and must be received by CHSA prior to the last day of the training. No refunds will be granted for any reason after the training has ended.
