Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Faculty Fellows Program! Applications are due, via this form, by Friday, July 31, 2026.

Faculty Fellows Program Overview:
The ACEI Faculty Fellows Program supports and empowers faculty from across campus who are interested in advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity within their research, teaching, service, and outreach. The program is designed to create a collaborative community of faculty who want to explore new ideas, seek informed feedback, connect with like-minded colleagues across disciplines, and develop connections and initiatives that broaden access to entrepreneurial thinking across the university and the Knoxville region. Expectations of Faculty Fellows:
While participation is voluntary, the program only succeeds through the active participation and commitment of the Fellows in the cohort. To that end, ACEI and its leadership expect the following of Faculty Fellows:
  • Participate in (and, at times, co-lead) monthly cohort meetings (tentative schedule below).
  • Actively engage with other Fellows in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.
  • Develop and/or contribute to new initiatives around entrepreneurship and innovation. 
  • Share professional progress, insights, and outcomes with the cohort and ACEI leadership.
  • Facilitate an ACEI visit to their classes, and share ACEI resources/opportunities with their students.
  • Serve as an ambassador for ACEI within their department, college, and professional network.

Additional Support/Benefits for Faculty Fellows:
In addition to joining a community of likeminded, entrepreneurially interested colleagues across campus and developing a stronger connection with the ACEI and its resources, Faculty Fellows also benefit by:
  • Having exclusive access to a Fellows Initiative Fund, financial resources earmarked for Fellows look to create or enhance entrepreneurship- or innovation-related initiatives/projects.
  • Carrying the "ACEI Faculty Fellow" title from July 2026 - June 2027.
  • Having their faculty profile included on the ACEI program website.
