Asteria Autumn 2020 Recruitment
Hi there!

Asteria: Space and Satellites is starting the new academic year by expanding the team!

Please find information on our team, our goals, and our mission at asteria-space.com

Asteria is the student-led satellite development team at UoE. Our primary goal is to design the UK's first student-built nanosatellite and put it into orbit in December 2021. Since the January, we've been working on mission concept development, licensing, and high-level design of our first satellite, Oracle 1. Oracle 1 will be a 3U cubesat on the mission of monitoring mosquito-borne diseases, motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We've been making some very cool progress over the last few months -- from securing launch collaborations and running orbital simulations to developing a mission that can have an impact around the world. We hope this intrigues you!

We're looking for STEM and non-STEM students alike! Launching a satellite requires just as much regulatory understanding, sponsorship and business development skill as engineering. If these topics intrigue you, roles within the Sponsorship, Media and Marketing, and Operations teams would be a perfect fit.

If you have any questions, feel free to email executive@asteria-space.com.
