2025 - 2026 Workshop Proposal Form

Women's Fiction Writers Association (WFWA)

Thank you for your interest in the Women's Fiction Writers Association. We are currently accepting new proposals for workshops in 2025 and early 2026.

Currently we are accepting proposals and scheduling workshops for 2025 and early 2026.

Each year we hold workshops that are craft, business and marketing related. We provide workshops in different formats including any of the following: self-paced text-based with pre-recorded video, Live Zoom presentations, slide decks, PowerPoint presentations, PDF and comparable downloads.

The WFWA Workshop Team also provides volunteers for technical assistance during each workshop and we also provide a host to accompany you during a Live Zoom Presentation if that is to be part of a workshop. As a requirement, we also record Live Zoom presentations and make those available to each registered student during a workshop. These recordings will only be available to students during the workshop. Once the workshop is complete, all learning materials will be archived and no longer accessible to anyone.

We do not require instructors to be members of WFWA.

W-9 is a simple form that can be completed with a Social Security Number, or an EIN, and does not have to be filed with the IRS. After your proposal has been accepted, if you don't have an up-to-date W-9 on file with us, you will receive an email within 48 hours with a blank W-9 attachment for your convenience. A completed W-9 must be returned to either our Treasurer or directly to the WFWA Workshop Team. Please note when filling out this W-9 form, if you use your Business Name, your payment will be made to your business. If you work as an individual without a business name, you will receive payment to your personal name. (If you are located outside the USA, the necessary forms for you to complete will be sent to you as well!)

We use host our workshops on a platform called Mighty Networks. All workshop instructors will be given access to the platform a minimum of one week prior to the start of a workshop. We ask each instructor to sign in and explore the platform prior to the start date and time. *
After we have reviewed your proposal we will contact you via email with any further questions we may have and request a sample page(s), request a video call, or see sample work for the proposed presentation you submitted.  *
We prefer when using examples of novels in your workshop materials and presentation, that Women's Fiction novels be referenced when possible. *
In 2025, we will be offering a limited number of our workshops to the public. If you are interested in your workshop being one of these opportunities please indicate below.  *
If selected as the public workshop offering for the quarter, you are free to advertise the accepted workshop to your networks on your own website, social media accounts and or newsletters. If your workshop is accepted as a private WFWA only opportunity, than WFWA membership is required to participate.
Thank you for your submission!
