YMC 2018 Supreme Court Application
Hi! My name is Isabel Bysiewicz and I am a junior at Yale studying Global Affairs. I am so excited to share the YMC Supreme Court with you [my seventh(!) YMC Conference]

Before applying, I must warn you that to participate you will need to do some preparation before the conference. Everyone will be assigned a case to argue as either a petitioner or a respondent, as well as participate as a Justice. For cases in which you are a Justice, I have provided a dense summary of the background, and both sides' arguments for you to look over either at the conference, or beforehand. For the case you have been assigned to argue, I have provided the sources you may use, and I expect you to use them. They are rather long and full of legalese, so you need to read them and take notes from them prior to the conference so you and your partner can start working on your case when you get to the conference. However, I am sure that if you all put in the necessary work in before the conference YMC 2018 SC will be a rewarding experience for everyone involved!

Best,
Isabel
