Local Cloth private events are the perfect way to learn a new skill and celebrate the heritage of the Appalachian Mountains! From birthday celebrations to team-building to retreats, Local Cloth’s farm and studio events offers a customized experience for your group. Local Cloth’s unique offering of fiber arts classes range from learning to prepare fleece and spinning yarn, to dyeing yarns and fabrics, and using these fibers to create functional and beautiful art pieces using felting, weaving, sewing, embroidery, knitting and more. All private events come with a skilled, experienced teacher, materials for your selected project, access to the classroom and dye lab (if needed), time to shop in the our Retail Store, and the option to add on a tour of a local fiber farm.
COST + PAYMENT
Private events will vary in cost depending on the type of materials used. You can expect to pay between $50-100 per person for your event, depending on length of class and what options you select for your event.
Payment for Private Studio Events must be made in full. Local Cloth will prepare an invoice for your group once your event has been scheduled. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required and the remaining balance due one week prior to your event. We require a minimum of 5 people to book a Private Studio and/or Farm Event. We can accommodate groups up to 20 people. All requested dates may not be available.
