Clearing The Air - Application Form
PEERS Alliance, with support from The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, is seeking 8 artistically motivated youth (age 16-25 years) to participate in a 10-week long project focused on exploring STBBI (Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections) prevention, harm reduction, treatment, testing, and stigma for the purpose of creating a creative & innovative educational tool for, by, and about Island youth. The program will allow us to educate one another and explore diverse artistic ways of expressing ourselves and sharing the knowledge we gain.

Successful applicants will participate in 10 weekly facilitated sessions (2-3 hours; November-February) in the evening during the week. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Each session will consist of learning about STBBIs, learning diverse arts-based methods of information sharing, modes of self-reflection and group reflection. At the end of 10 weeks, we will have created an artistic educational and shareable tool.
