Call for Reading Proposals | Deadline: May 15, 2026
Thank you for your interest in LitHop 2026, our Tenth Anniversary.

This year's event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at participating venues across the historic Tower District in Fresno, California. We are grateful for another year connecting Fresno readers and writers for an exciting and 100% FREE all-day literary arts festival. Reading proposals will be reviewed from 
May 15 - June 15.

Please note: all LitHop reading proposals must consist of four (4) people.

Use only this Google Form to submit your reading proposals. E-mailed reading proposals will NOT be opened by the LitHop review committee. Please designate only one person and/or email to submit your group's reading proposal, and complete all sections below. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

Submit your completed reading proposal NO LATER THAN MAY 15, 2026, by 11:59 PM PDT. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Limit one email per reading proposal submission.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
* LitHop events will run from noon to 7:30 PM PDT at various venues on October 3, 2026.
* Each proposed reading event will be 45 minutes long (total) shared between 4 readers.
* The order of readers will be determined by the participating readers only.
* Limit two reading proposals per reader to avoid time conflicts and/or double-booked reading events.
* You will be able to edit your reading proposal AFTER submitting, should your readers or content change.
* Limit 1 contact person and/or email per reading proposal to reduce duplicate proposals.
* LitHop will not curate individual readings, i.e. we cannot pair you with other readers or events.
* Unfortunately, LitHop cannot cover any travel-related costs for this event.
* Participating venues will be announced by June 15, 2026.
* We intend to help published readers sell their books. More information to come.
* All in-person events will take place in Fresno, CA, in the historic Tower District and will operate in general accordance with local, state, and national CDC guidelines.
