We are grateful you are here and celebrating all the amazing linguistic and academic assets of your students this year!
Enrollment in the Volunteer State Seal of Biliteracy awards are free for all levels of award and we currently offer support and resources for the following: Pathway to Biliteracy Awards for Elementary Grades, Pathway to Biliteracy Awards for Middle Grades, Seal of Bilingualism, Seal of Biliteracy, and Seal of Biliteracy Honors.
Registering through this page will add you to our school mailing list (please make sure to move us to an approved/not spam folder, as some school email platforms block the gmail they will come from). We send out periodic emails with updates on the program, especially as we approach each spring award season. You can reach out at any time for support or with questions.
Each year, we are able to support the following at more than 100 schools across the state:
- -provide training for new and established programs
- -provide program guides and planning materials for the award program
- -connect you with similar schools to collaborate or brainstorm
- -share opportunities for advocacy and engagement in and across Tennessee
- -receive award materials, such as certificate template and diplomas seals, at no cost and award medals and promotional items at cost
- maintain a record of all students in the state who have received the award, to allow employers and post-secondary institutions to verify applicant awards
