Thank you for dedicating your valuable time to REC Grad 2025. This event couldn't be a success without your help. The grad dinner and dance event will be held at the RBC Convention Centre on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Contact information may be shared with other volunteers. Please check off the boxes below where you would like to volunteer. You may select more than one committee. Thank you all for your great support.

Volunteer Coordinator 
1 parent is needed.
  • Connect with committee Chairs to assess the volunteer needs of each committee.
  • Recruit and co-ordinate parents for volunteer help as required.  
  • Attend the event for the entire duration (on June 24th, 2025) 
Supervision/Security Committee

  40+ parents are needed.

  • Attend the Safe Grad event during shifts: 5:30-8:00, 8:00-10:30, and 10:30 until the end.
  • Maintain your assigned position within the venue.
  • Regularly check the washrooms.
  • Assist in resolving any issues, such as drama among students or helping those who have over-indulged.
  • Work with venue security as required. 

Fun Casino Committee
26 + parents are needed.
  • Attend Safe Grad event during shifts 7:30-9:00, 9:00-10:30. 
  • Operate one table as a dealer; one night of training will be provided before.
  • Not responsible for the delivery, setup, and take down.

Raffle/Silent Auction Committee
10+ parents are needed.
  • Campaign to obtain silent raffle prizes.
  • Organize prizes into packages and set them up at the venue. 
  • Monitor and exchange casino funds for raffle tickets during the event. 
  • Announce the winners at 11 pm (e.g., Record the names of the winners on a large paper.)
Sign In and Out Committee
30 + parents are needed.
  • Verify designated drivers before the event.
  • Attend the Safe Grad event shifts:( Sign In) 5:20 -6:20, (During) 6:20-10:30, (Sign Out)10:30 until the end.
  • Sign in all attendees (wristbands) & Signing out with a verified designated driver. 
  • All materials will be provided.
