Dr. Sanford J. Cohn Lifetime Achievement Award
The Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented occasionally presents the Dr. Sanford J. Cohn Lifetime Achievement Award to individuals who over an extended period of time have devoted time, expertise and resources to the advancement of gifted education.

Criteria:
1. Evidence of long term support of gifted students, funding and programs.
2. Evidence of broad range, long term impact on gifted education through extraordinary service to parents of the gifted, teachers, administrators and elected officials.

A complete nomination packet includes forms from three submitters. (Note: One may be completed by the nominee.) The complete nomination packet is due December 31st.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is not an annual award. When a person of merit is nominated, The Dr. Sanford J. Cohn Lifetime Achievement in Gifted Education Award will be presented at the AAGT annual conference in February.
