Worker Bees represent BKD while working and therefore will wear a BKD t-shirt for their shift (if a member does not already one a BKD t-shirt, one will provided for them to use while they are in the program). They must be familiar with the BKD class schedules, locations, and upcoming workshops. They must demonstrate responsibility, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. They will convey a sense of warmth, inclusivity, and openness in every interaction with BKD students, teachers, and members of the general public. In order to maintain a standard of excellent customer service and professionalism, personal and recreational use of computers, tablets, and mobile phones will not be allowed during work shifts. Honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability are expected. Duties will include checking in students for class, checking student & senior ID, accepting payments, providing receipts when requested, and answering questions.
Worker Bees may also be asked to work shifts at the monthly BKD workshops & Bees' Knees Tease.
A minimum 3-month commitment is required.
