Signature. by typing in this text box, you represent signature of agreement to the the following statement: Under no circumstances can any child under 16 years of age be left unattended at PCHS shelter or thrift store. Pope County Humane Society staff are not responsible for children. PCHS is not held reliable for any injury acquired at PCHS or when helping at a fundraiser. Volunteers can only work with the animals that are available for adoption. Volunteers will not be administering any medication. Volunteers will not run the cash register. We ask the volunteers to play with the animals, groom them, walk dogs, take part in foster care, help with fundraisers, assist with cleaning, but most importantly love our animals when at the shelter. They are our family until they go to their forever home. PCHS is their current hom, so please help us keep it a safe and clean environment for them. I have read the volunteer application and I understand my role as a volunteer.
