Duties of officers (specific job descriptions, responsibilities)

President:

1. Attends and leads all meetings or assigns a designee.

2. Ensures that the organization is fulfilling its goals as determined by the executive board and faculty advisor.

3. Is responsible for all organizational actions.

4. Serves as the spokesperson or contact for the organization.

5. Submits paperwork for the annual recognition process.

6. Attends meetings organized by the RSO office.

Vice President:

1. Performs the presidential duties when the President is unable to.

2. Assists the President in ensuring the organization is meeting its purpose.

3. Is responsible for promoting the organization and recruiting new members.

4. Performs special duties as may be conferred or prescribed by the Board or Advisor.

Secretary:

1. Is responsible for securing meeting locations.

2. Advertises the meeting and activity times, and locations.

3. Takes meeting minutes and communicates to all officers and Advisor.

4. Is responsible for keeping the constitution and Student Organization Recognition Information form.

5. Reviews and audits the financial records kept by the Treasurer.

6. Maintains the roster of D.R.E.A.M. members.

Treasurer:

1. Performs all financial actions of the organization under the direction of the President and Advisor.

2. Is responsible for the collecting and depositing of all financial acquisitions.

3. Is responsible for maintaining and organizing the organization’s financial records.

4. Prepares and submits paperwork for reimbursements and deposits to the Cashier’s office.

Web Chair:

1. Is responsible for managing the website and social media presence.

2. Is responsible for designing graphics, flyers, and brochures for events and activities organized or supported by the organization.

Event Manager:

1. Be present at all the events.

2. Is responsible for planning and organizing events every month.
