UNSWCC - New Player Try Outs (NPTO) - Application & Registration Form

Applications to join UNSWCC for 2025/2026 are now open. 

UNSWCC plays in the NSW Premier Cricket competition cited as one of the strongest domestic cricket competitions in the world. We therefore attract significant interest across a broad spectrum of playing ability.

New players looking to trying out for UNSWCC - who are seeking to make the transition to Premier Cricket or are simply looking to change Premier Cricket clubs, are subject to evaluation as described below.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 5:00 pm, Friday 6th June 2025 (No extensions)

NEW PLAYER TRY OUT DATE: Starting 9:00 am, Saturday 21st June 2025 (No other dates will be extended)

VENUE: Attendance is by invitation only. The venue of the try outs will be revealed to successful applicants ONLY (Those who are not invited, need not attend)  

THE PROCESS (In Brief):

1) APPLICATION - Applications will be evaluated, successful applicants will receive an invitation to attend our New Player Try-Out session (s) (Unsuccessful applicants, will not);

2) THE NEW PLAYER TRY OUT (S) - Successful applicants will be put to the test, competing against other successful applicants;

3) SQUAD SELECTION - At the end of the try out process, players that meet the clubs requirements will be offered an opportunity to attend our pre-season program for further evaluation as they compete for selection in one of our Premier Cricket teams against our current player roster. 

Note for transparency, being offered the opportunity to attend pre-season is not a guarantee that you will be selected in a team come round 1.
