2400 3rd Avenue, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98121
Room 202

Join us for a two-hour introductory discussion and experiential workshop exploring the discipline of dance/movement therapy (D.M.T), a form of creative arts therapy that utilizes elements of dance and expressive movement as a primary method of assessment and treatment intervention. The workshop is intended for those wishing to explore the profession of D.M.T as a possible career and/or for those furthering their professional development by becoming familiar with the use of the body in the therapeutic relationship. Application and practice with various populations in therapeutic and educational settings will be highlighted.

No previous dance experience is necessary for this workshop, however, please come prepared to engage in some simple experiential exercises. All abilities welcome.

This form is for the Friday May 19th open house session from 6pm-8pm. It is free to all interested but you must fill out this form to RSVP for the event.
