Family Design Event: Build Mass Ave
Share your love of design by volunteering for Build Mass Ave! The BSA Foundation will partner with the Mary Baker Eddy Library for a family design event during Opening Our Doors, a day of free events in the Fenway Cultural District. In this Box City program, Boston’s youth will rethink one of the city’s beloved roads—Massachusetts Avenue. Guided by architects, children will use their imaginations to construct their own piece of architecture from recycled materials. Volunteers are needed to set up, guide children through the steps of the process, manage materials, act as ‘City Architect’ and clean up. No experience is necessary. Just bring a sense of fun and your willingness to share your enthusiasm with the next generation.
