Join us for a post-legislative session wrap up event, where we'll be talking story on the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of the 2013 Legislative Session, including the passage of the innovative Open Data bill, the death (and resurrection!) of the Transparency for SuperPACs bill, the morphing and eventual death of the Media Shield Law, and the mutated “Frankenstein” bills that were created.
Guest speakers to be announced on www.commoncause.org/HI. Light refreshments served.
Date/time: Monday, May 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Location: Hawaii Public Radio, 738 Kaheka Street, Ste 101
Cost: Free, but donations appreciated: www.commoncause.org/HI/donate
Parking: Street parking is available on metered stalls along Makaloa and Kaheka Street, and a couple of public garages nearby. Sorry, no guest parking is available in the building. Please do not park at Don Quijote, because they tow vehicles.
RSVPs requested by Friday, May 10, 2013 to help ensure we have enough refreshments for our guests.
