Monarda Bee Balm Blue Stocking-great attractant for pollinators,  24" tall
Monarda Bee Balm Pocahontas Purple Rose
Monarda Bee Balm Pocahontas Red Rose
Monarda Bee Balm Sugar Buzz Cherry Pops-In midsummer, they form a solid dome of color with their 2-2½" flowers on strong, well-branched stems. The dark green foliage forms an upright clump with enough vigor to quickly fill out containers nicely but are not aggressive in the garden.  These display above average resistance to powdery mildew.   24" x 24"
Monarda Bee Balm Sugar Buzz Grape Gumball-In midsummer, 'Grape Gumball' forms a solid dome of vibrant magenta, 2-2½” flowers on strong, well-branched stems. The dark green foliage forms an upright clump that will fill out containers nicely but won’t run all over the garden. It displays above average resistance to powdery mildew. Much loved by pollinators.  20"x20"  Zone 4
Nepeta Catmint Kit Cat-‘Kit Cat’ is a dwarf cultivar that grows in spreading mounds to only 15” tall. It features scalloped, ovate, gray-green leaves that are highly aromatic when crushed or bruised. Two-lipped blue flowers are densely covered in bloom from May to September. Although this is not the true catnip loved by house cats, the leaves of this hybrid, although somewhat less enticing, are also attractive to cats.  15" x 15"  Zone 3
Nepeta Catmint Prelude Purple
Nepeta Catmint Purrsian Blue
Nepeta Catmint Walker's Low- Gray-green, aromatic foliage gives way to a plethora of soft lavender-blue flowers which are produced over a long period in summer. Although the stems are 2-3' long, the plant's arching habit brings the height down to 18-24" if it is not staked.
Peony Rachel
Peony Itoh Bartzella-Itoh peonies are a cross between old fashioned peonies and the Japanese Tree peony.  They have sturdy upright stems which keep the bright yellow flowers from flopping over in the wind and rain.  Fragrant spring flowers last longer than the old fashioned peony, with buds forming and fully open flowers on the same plant.  36" x 36"  Zone 4
Peony Itoh Garden Candy Strawberry Swirl
Papaver Brilliant Red-This is the color of red/orange that you think of when you hear the work poppy!
Papaver Poppy Oriental Royal Wedding
Penstemon Prairie Dusk-Tubular purple flowers on this tall standing beauty!
Perovskia atriplicifolia Blue Steel
Perovskia Russian Sage Crazy Blue
Perovskia Russian Sage Little Spire-Much more contained form of Russian Sage that stays nicely clumped in the landscape.  Looks a lot like Lavender, which is not reliably winter hardy in South Dakota, Russian Sage is a much better choice for a feathery purple/blue look in the landscape.  25" X 25"  Zone 4
Perovskia Russian Sage Advice-You would be wise to choose this Perovskia because it's the darkest purple shade to date. Rich lavender purple flowers are produced on strong, upright plants filled with oval-shaped, notched leaves. This is early to bloom starting in late July. Well mannered, stays in place.  36" x 32"  Zone 4
Phlox Blue Paradise
Phlox Tall Bright Eyes-Bright pink globes of summer flowers with dark pink eyes.  Moderately resistant to powder mildew fungus.  30" x 30"  Zone 4
Phlox Tall SUper Ka-Pow Coral
Phlox Tall Super Ka-Pow Fuchsia
Phlox Creeping Emerald Blue-Dark green needle like foliage is covered by soft purple blue spring flowers.  Good for rock gardens and borders.  6" x 24"  Zone 4
Physostegia Obedient Plant Miss Manners-Glistening white, snapdragon flowers over shorter, deep green glossy foliage. Very tidy and a well behaved non-spreader. Why is this called Obedient Plant? When Physostegia flower spikes are in full bloom, you can push the flowers to hold any position you fancy to give them - very helpful when in an arrangement.  24" x 24"
Platycodon Balloon Flower Grand Mariesii-Balloon shaped buds pop open to reveal bright blue summer flowers.  24" x 24"  Zone 4
Pulmonaria Lungwort Lisa Marie-Spring blooming mounded plants with long last flowers that fade from pink to light purple blue.  Low growing to 15"
Pulmonaria 'Roy Davidson' is a perennial offering 3 seasons to nearly year-round interest. Blooming in early spring, the plant sets drooping clusters dense with funnel-shaped flowers that emerge from hot pink buds, turn pale pink, and mature to sky blue with age. Bees adore these pollen and nectar-rich flowers. Spotted foliage will tolerate shaded areas.   12" x 15"
Pulmonaria Lungwort Raspberry Splash-Spring blooming pink flowers age to soft purple blue tones.  Silver spots on lance shaped leaves, good for sem-shaded areas.  12" x 15"  Zone 3
Pulmonaria Samurai
Pulmonaria Samurai Blossoms
Pulsatilla vulgaris-Prairie Pasqueflower-SD State flower
