10AM - 11:30AM: Intro to X32 / M32 Live & Studio Digital Consoles - This class will go over the fundamentals of setting up and using the Midas M32 and Behringer X32 consoles. We will be diving into some tips and tricks on things may not know these mixers could do. Presented by Chase McKnight of Mus!c
10AM - 11:30AM: Using Dante in day-to-day applications - In this class, we will be discussing the use of Dante in smaller applications. It no longer needs to be reserved for large-scale deployments. Presented by Kathryn Taub of Audinate
12PM - 1:30PM: "Who moved my pixel?" (eligible for 1 RU for CTS & CTS-D upon completion) In this class you will learn the explanation of the Texas Instruments DLP & DMD technologies along with an explanation of 4K UHD vs. 4K DCI resolutions and the associated aspect ratios. Understand the difference between 120Hz pixel shift and 240Hz pixel shift. Explain the differences between 4K native, 4K “on screen”, 4K e-shift, and 4K-Ready marketing terms. Read a specification sheet for a projector and understand the difference between native (imager) resolution and “on screen” resolution. Presented by Troy Cobb of Digital Projection
12PM - 1:30PM: LAB/Lake - This class will be an introduction to the high-performance LAKE digital audio loudspeaker processor for unparalleled loudspeaker management and system control. We will also be discussing Lakes integration into Lab Gruppen PLM+ and D Series amplifier platforms making them the Industry standard for Touring and Performance Install applications.
