The FDKC application process requires the applicant to have 2 current members as sponsors to vouch for the character of the applicant. Do you have 2 members willing to sponsor your application? List them below

Note: No application will be read if the sponsor and/or applicant fail to attend the meeting. Two readings are required prior to voting. If the applicant is unable to attend due to work hours or circumstances beyond their control, the sponsor(s) may petition the board for an exception to this note.

The object of the corporation shall be to promote the proper breeding of dogs, to protect and advance the interest and good physical and mental health of dogs, and to ensure proper breeding, record keeping & placing of litters. I/We believe a club member should not sell puppies to a pet store, puppy broker, puppy mill, or any agent thereof. I/We also agree to follow the standards set forth by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Fort Dodge Kennel Club (FDKC) as to the holding of dog shows, exhibitions, sanctioned matches, and obedience trials, along with community education involvement. I/We will attend meetings of the club regularly and agree to help with at least 2 club activities during the year. I/We will abide by the FDKC constitution and by-laws, and the rules and regulations of the AKC.
