The 2019 BPS Accelerated Community to Teacher Program: Recommendation Form
The Accelerated Community to Teacher Program prepares diverse community members to become licensed teachers in the Boston Public Schools. In this unique twelve-month part-time program, participants develop their practice in the four domains of the state’s teacher evaluation system. Working alongside highly skilled teachers and community partners, cohort members participate in workshops, complete practicums, and assemble competency-based portfolios. Those who successfully complete the program are eligible to earn up to six graduate credits from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

In order to help the selection committee gain a deeper understanding of the applicant, we are asking you to provide candid responses on this recommendation form. Thank you in advance for submitting the form promptly. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the selection committee at diversity-ACTT@bostonpublicschools.org.
