Porch Stomp 2019 Volunteer Sign-Up
Porch Stomp is a yearly festival that brings over 100 musicians, artists, and performing arts organizations to the historic porches of Nolan Park on Governors Island to dance, sing, and play. We welcome every musical style that has contributed to American musical traditions, from Folk and Blues to Oldtime, Bluegrass, and Irish - there's even a "soapbox" stage where anybody can share their music with festival-goers. It is a fantastic family day, and a day to bring your instrument and jam and sing along. We rely on dedicated volunteers to make the event successful and keep it free for everyone!
By joining us as a Porch Stomp volunteer, you will enjoy behind-the-scenes access to the festival, the opportunity to meet musicians from all over the country, a free Porch Stomp t-shirt, and oh so much gratitude! We're mainly seeking help on the day of the festival, but there are also opportunities to be involved in planning and outreach beforehand. Thanks for signing up!
