The Lint Center for National Security Studies, Inc., founded in 2007, is a non-profit IRS organization which awards merit-based scholarships and mentoring programs for students pursuing careers in national service with a particular focus on counterintelligence, military intelligence, national security and cross-cultural studies. The Center is Veteran and minority operated and managed. It awards scholarships semi-annually in both January and July. For more information, please visit http://www.lintcenter.org.

Terms
Volunteers must have no convictions for undeclared crimes. If the crime is disclosed in advance, the issue may be adjudicated and waived by the Lint Center Executive Director for misdemeanor charges under special circumstances.

The Lint Center does not issue letters certifying court ordered community service. If accepted as a volunteer, I understand and agree that I will be evaluated for volunteer position performance and may be terminated for poor performance or inappropriate behavior according to Lint Center procedures.

In an effort to prevent a conflict of interest, individuals who volunteer for the Lint Center will automatically be disapproved for any organization scholarships.
