The WFTDA has established the Bettie Mercury Officiating Scholarship program in honor of Bettie. Bettie was an NSO who was a strong advocate for the WFTDA officiating program, a dedicated Officiating Education Trainer, Tech Pillar guru, GTO, and an NSO who dedicated countless hours supporting WFTDA events and mentoring and supporting local leagues.

In honor of Bettie's work to make WFTDA an inclusive environment where Officials from all parts of the globe could be provided opportunities to participate in our sport and better themselves, the WFTDA is providing reduced or free online learning fees to help offset the costs required for obtaining Officiating Certification.

Please be aware that we are asking for a brief description of circumstances, to understand why $30 (US-Dollar via paypal) is an unattainable amount and what is comfortably affordable ($15, $20, etc.).

The WFTDA does not require financial documentation of any kind, and please share only information you are comfortable sharing. Your application will be reviewed and a response provided with instructions on how to activate any discounts within 30 days of receiving this request.
